V (1984 TV Series)
''V'' (also known as ''V: The Series'') is an American science fiction television series that aired in the United States on NBC from October 26, 1984, to March 22, 1985. It is a continuation of the ''V'' franchise about an alien invasion of Earth by a carnivorous race of reptilians known as "Visitors", which was originally conceived by American writer, producer, and director Kenneth Johnson. Johnson, however, was not involved in the production of the weekly series. Plot Following directly on from the events of the mini-series ''V (The Final Battle)'', the alien Diana escapes from her captured mothership in a shuttle, but is pursued by resistance member Mike Donovan. After a short fight, Donovan captures her. Monaural or monophonic sound reproduction (often shortened to mono) is sound intended to be heard as if it were emanating from one position. This contrasts with stereophonic sound or ''stereo'', which uses two separate audio channels to reproduce sound from two microphones on the right and left side, which is reproduced with two separate loudspeakers to give a sense of the direction of sound sources. Frank Ashmore (born June 17, 1945) is an American actor. Career He is perhaps best known for his role as "Martin" in the 1983 NBC miniseries '' V'' and its 1984 sequel '' V: The Final Battle''. He reprised his role in the pilot episode of '' V: The Series'' -- and as Martin's brother "Philip" (A Supreme Commander appointed to investigate the murder of Supreme Commander "Charles", who had married V villainess "Diana" and died on the wedding night from a poisoned drink; he later became a "Fifth Columnist" like Martin). The Final Battle
The sixth season of the American ABC fantasy-drama series ''Once Upon a Time'' was ordered on March 3, 2016. It debuted on September 25, 2016, and concluded on May 14, 2017. In January 2017, it was stated that the sixth season would end the main storyline, and for a seventh season, the series would be softly rebooted with a new storyline. Existing fictional characters introduced to the series during the season include Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, the Count of Monte Cristo, Captain Nemo, Lady Tremaine, Beowulf, Tiger Lily and the Tin Man. Open City
In war, an open city is a settlement which has announced it has abandoned all defensive efforts, generally in the event of the imminent capture of the city to avoid destruction. Once a city has declared itself open the opposing military will be expected under international law to peacefully occupy the city rather than destroy it.
