VR46 Racing Team
The VR46 Racing Team is a motorcycle racing team owned by Valentino Rossi and based in Tavullia ( Marche, Italy). The team enters Grand Prix motorcycle racing in the MotoGP category with Ducati motorcycles and in the Moto2 category with Kalex chassis, under the name Mooney VR46 Racing Team. The team manager is the former road racer Pablo Nieto. The team has to date collected 28 race wins (9 in Moto3 and 19 in Moto2), one riders' championship (with Francesco Bagnaia in Moto2 in 2018), and one teams' championship (Moto2 in 2020). 2018 Moto2 Season
The 2018 FIM Moto2 World Championship was a part of the 70th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Franco Morbidelli was the reigning series champion, but he did not defend his title as he moved to the MotoGP class. 2018 was the final season that the Honda CBR600RR inline-4 engine package — which debuted in the 2010 Moto2 season — was used in competition; as the brand new engine package (765cc inline-3) supplied by Triumph Motorcycles was introduced for the 2019 season. 2016 Moto3 World Championship
The 2016 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 68th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Danny Kent was the reigning series champion but did not defend his title as he joined the series' intermediate class, Moto2. The riders' championship title was won by Ajo Motorsport rider Brad Binder, after a second-place finish at the Aragon Grand Prix gave him an unassailable lead over his title rivals with four races remaining. Binder, who finished each of the first seven races on the podium, took the championship lead after the second race in Argentina, and took his first Grand Prix victory at the Spanish Grand Prix – starting from 35th on the grid. 2015 French Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2015 French motorcycle Grand Prix was the fifth round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans on 17 May 2015. In the premier class, Marc Márquez took his third pole position of the season. However, it was Jorge Lorenzo who won his second consecutive race ahead of his teammate Valentino Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso completed the podium in third place. Fourth place was battled between Márquez, Andrea Iannone, and Bradley Smith, with Márquez eventually prevailing ahead of Iannone. Both Team LCR riders failed to finish the race; Cal Crutchlow crashed out at Turn 6 and Jack Miller crashed at the Dunlop chicane. The 2015 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 67th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Álex Márquez was the reigning series champion but he did not defend his title as he joined the series' intermediate class, Moto2. Danny Kent became Great Britain's first Grand Prix motorcycle world champion since Barry Sheene in , by winning the championship at the final race of the season in Valencia. Leopard Racing rider Kent started the season with wins at three of the first four races and his lowest finish in the first half of the season was fourth, leading the championship by 66 points at the mid-season break. 2014 Moto3 Season
The 2014 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 66th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Maverick Viñales was the reigning series champion, but did not contest the season as he moved to the series' intermediate class, Moto2. The riders' championship was not settled until the final round of the season, and was won by Estrella Galicia 0,0 rider Álex Márquez, the brother of 125cc champion Marc Márquez; as a result, the Márquez brothers became the first siblings to each win a Grand Prix motorcycle racing title. Márquez – a three-time race winner – prevailed after a third-place finish in Valencia, which was good enough to give him the title by two points over Jack Miller, who won the race. 2014 German Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2014 German motorcycle Grand Prix was the ninth round of the 2014 MotoGP season. It was held at the Sachsenring in Hohenstein-Ernstthal on 13 July 2014. A light rain shortly before the MotoGP race led a large number of riders to choose to go to the grid with wet weather tyres. However, the rain started to dry quickly causing a number of riders to switch to slicks at the end of the formation lap which meant those riders had to start from pit lane. This resulted in only 9 of the 23 riders starting on the grid. Only three riders on the grid were on slicks (Stefan Bradl, Hiroshi Aoyama, Karel Abraham). Stefan Bradl, who swapped to slicks between the sighting and warm up laps, was the only rider on any of the first five rows. The 2014 Dutch TT was the eighth round of the 2014 MotoGP season. It was held at the TT Circuit Assen in Assen on 28 June 2014. In his 150th Grand Prix, Aleix Espargaró recorded his first-ever pole position through his career. However, Marc Márquez won his eight successive race. Vittoriano Guareschi
Vittoriano Guareschi (born 19 June 1971) is an Italian former professional motorcycle racer and racing team manager. He competed in the Supersport World Championship from 1996 to 1998 and in the Superbike World Championship from 1999 to 2000. After his racing career he helped Ducati develop their new MotoGP entry as a test rider before becoming the team manager of the Ducati MotoGP team. Career Guareschi was born in Parma, Italy as the son of a Parmesan Moto Guzzi distributor. He began his racing career in 1988 at the age of 17. He raced for the Cagiva factory racing team in the 125 cc Italian national championship alongside his teammate and future world champion, Valentino Rossi. Cagiva is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer. It was founded in 1950 by Giovanni Castiglioni in Varese, originally producing small metal components. Giovanni's sons, Claudio and Gianfranco Castiglioni, went into the motorcycle industry in 1978.
