Serbian Water Polo League A
The Serbian Water polo League A ( sr, Прва А лига Србије у ватерполу, Prva A liga Srbije u vaterpolu) is the highest level of men's water polo in Serbia and it is organized by the Water polo Federation of Serbia. History Kingdom of Yugoslavia / SFR Yugoslavia Domestic water polo club competition in Serbia started in 1921, three years after Kingdom of Serbia became Kingdom of Yugoslavia, although officially was known as Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes between 1918 and 1929. It was the first season of the Yugoslav Water Polo Championship which was played regularly from 1921 to 1991 with only exception being between 1940 and 1944 when the league was halted because of the Second World War. The first edition was won by VK Polet Sombor, which will also become Yugoslav champion in 1922 and 1924. The 2009–10 LEN Euroleague was the 47th edition of Europe's premier club water polo competition. It lasted between 9 October 2009 and 15 May 2010. 2012–13 LEN Champions League
The 2012–13 LEN Champions League was the 50th edition of LEN's premier competition for men's water polo clubs. It ran from 14 September 2012 to 1 June 2013, and it was contested by thirty teams from eighteen countries. There was no defending champion as Pro Recco renounced to the competition for disagreements with the FIN on the number of allowed foreign players in the Italian clubs' squads. Runner-up Primorje Rijeka, former champions Mladost Zagreb and Vasas Budapest, Italy's CN Posillipo and any team from Montenegro also declined to take part in the competition. 2011–12 LEN Champions League
The 2011–12 LEN Champions League is the 49th edition of the Europe men's premier water polo competition. This also would become the first season with the new name of the LEN Champions League with the former name being called the Euroleague which had been the name of the competition since 2003. 29 teams competed in the edition with three quarters of those playing in qualifying as they joined the eight teams in the group stage. From there, the top two teams of each group qualified to the knockout stage with the final four round being played in Oradea. In the final, Pro Recco from Italy took out their seventh title defeating Croatian club, VK Primorje 11–8. The 2010–11 LEN Euroleague was the highest-level competition in men's European club water polo. It involved the champions and other top teams from European national leagues and ran from September 2010 to May 2011.
