The Brandcenter at VCU (often called Brandcenter, formerly known as VCU Adcenter) is a master's program for advertising, branding and creative problem-solving at Virginia Commonwealth University. The school is part of the VCU School of Business. Program and concentrations Brandcenter students earn a Master of Science in business, with a focus in the following concentrations: * Art Direction * Copywriting * Creative Brand Management * Experience Design * Strategy The program is highly collaborative project-based, designed to simulate a real-world agency/client setting. Students study within their given concentration, while also collaborating with all concentrations on team projects that culminate in presentations to their faculty, peers, and real-world clients. Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is a public research university in Richmond, Virginia. VCU was founded in 1838 as the medical department of Hampden–Sydney College, becoming the Medical College of Virginia in 1854. The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business is the business school of Virginia Commonwealth University, a public research university in Richmond, Virginia. Clive Wilkinson
Clive Wilkinson (born 1954, Cape Town, South Africa) is an architect and interior designer. The Jefferson Hotel is a luxury hotel in Richmond, Virginia, United States, opened in 1895. In 1969, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Jefferson is a member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. On site is "Lemaire", a restaurant named after Etienne Lemaire, who served as ''maitre d'hotel'' to Thomas Jefferson from 1794 through the end of his presidency.
