Víctor Rodríguez (Spanish Footballer)
Víctor Rodríguez Romero (born 23 July 1989) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a winger. Club career Born in Barberà del Vallès, Barcelona, Catalonia, Rodríguez played four years with FC Barcelona as a youth, sharing teams with future Valencia CF, Barcelona and Spain star Jordi Alba. Both were released for being deemed too small. Rodríguez then signed for neighbours CF Badalona in the Segunda División B, going on to spend three full seasons at that level with the club. In 2012 he joined Real Zaragoza of La Liga, but initially as a member of the reserve team also in the third tier. He was introduced in the main squad setup by manager Manolo Jiménez shortly after, however, making his league debut on 25 August in a 2–1 away win against RCD Espanyol. Real Zaragoza, S.A.D. Manuel "Manolo" Jiménez Jiménez (; born 26 January 1964) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a left-back, currently a manager. His career was intimately connected with Sevilla as both a player and manager, and he competed solely in La Liga with the club in the former capacity. He represented Spain at the 1990 World Cup. As a coach, Jiménez had four different spells at AEK Athens in the Super League Greece. Abroad, he also worked with Al-Rayyan and Al Wahda. Segunda División B (English: second division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
