Jarl Goli
Jarl Einar Goli (born 23 April 1957) is working as a painter today. He has been a Norwegian actor and television personality in former times. He enrolled at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1978, and started a career in acting. He was a stage actor at Den Nationale Scene before appearing on television for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. He quickly made his breakthrough with Eli Rygg in the children's show '' Portveien 2'' in the mid-1980s. In 1985 Goli was awarded the ''Se og Hør'' readers' TV personality of the year award. He left ''Portveien 2'' after about 70 episodes, and hosted the 1986 Melodi Grand Prix as well as the radio programs ''Norsktoppen'' and '' Reiseradioen''. In the 1990s he appeared on other channels, as host of ''Super-Quick'' in 1993 on TV Norge and '' Våg og vinn'' in 1997 on TV3. TV3 Norway is a commercial television channel targeting Norway owned by Viaplay Group. It was separated from the earlier Pan-Scandinavian version in 1990. Unlike its main rivals, NRK, TV 2 and TVNorge, the channel does not broadcast from Norway but from West Drayton, Middlesex in the United Kingdom, even if the channel is almost solely aimed at Norwegian viewers. This excludes the channel from the strict rules in Norway that apply to advertising (ban on advertisements aimed at children or interrupting programs). Also unlike the other main channels, it wasn't available on analogue terrestrial, having to rely on satellite and cable television for its distribution. With the launch of digital terrestrial television in October 2007, the channel became available terrestrially. On 3 August 2009 TV3 launched a new visual identity and a new logo. Lysefjorden
Lysefjord or Lysefjorden is a fjord located in the Ryfylke area in Rogaland county in southwestern Norway. The long fjord lies in the municipalities of Strand and Sandnes, about east of the city of Stavanger. The name means ''light fjord'', and is said to be derived from the lightly coloured granite rocks along its sides. It is particularly well known for the huge Preikestolen cliff overlooking the fjord, which is a major tourist destination for the region. The fairly isolated village of Lysebotn lies at the eastern end of the fjord and the villages of Forsand and Oanes both lie at the western end of the fjord near the Lysefjord Bridge, the only crossing of the fjord. Geology The fjord was carved by the action of glaciers in the ice ages and was flooded by the sea when the later glaciers retreated.
