Västberga Helicopter Robbery
The Västberga helicopter robbery occurred on 23 September 2009 at 05:15 CET when a G4S cash service depot was robbed in Västberga in southern Stockholm, Sweden. The robbers used a stolen Bell 206 Jet Ranger as transport and landed on the rooftop of the G4S building. The police were unable to use their own helicopters to pursue the robbers since decoy bombs had been placed close to them. A 7-million-Swedish krona, Swedish-krona reward was announced the following day for anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the robbers and/or the return of the stolen goods. This was the first robbery involving a helicopter in Swedish history. Kanaanbadet
Kanaanbadet (Kanaan beach), is a public beach by the lake Mälaren (a lake located outside Stockholm, Sweden). The beach is not far west of Blackeberg in the Hässelby-Vällingby area and is a part of Grimsta nature reserve. The biblical name Kanaan was used for the first time in around 1730 and comes from an old croft that was built on the beach. In the end of the 18th century a bigger house was built and it was later transformed into a tavern. The old tavern was torn down in 1881 and "the king of Swedish snuff" Knut Ljunglöf built the house that since 1952 has been the Kanaan Cafe. Nowadays the beach is a popular place to go for people living west of Stockholm and it is often crowded on hot summer days. There is one cafeteria, and a mini golf court. There is also a small diving tower. Sweden's first youth center was opened here in 1933 and during World War II it was a standby station for officers. Ivica Dačić ( sr-cyr, Ивица Дачић, ; born 1 January 1966) is a Serbian politician serving as first deputy prime minister of Serbia and minister of foreign affairs since 2022, roles which he previously served under governments of Mirko Cvetković, Aleksandar Vučić, and Ana Brnabić.
