The 2020 Women's European Olympic Qualification Tournament was a volleyball tournament for women's national teams held in Apeldoorn, Netherlands from 7 to 12 January 2020. 8 teams played in the tournament and the winners Turkey qualified to the 2020 Women's Olympic Volleyball Tournament. Pools composition The hosts Netherlands and the top seven ranked teams from the CEV National Team Ranking as of 9 September 2019 which had not yet qualified to the 2020 Olympic Games competed in this tournament. Apeldoorn
Apeldoorn (; Dutch Low Saxon: ) is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands. It is located about 60 km east of Utrecht, 60 km west of Enschede, 25 km north of Arnhem and 35 km south of Zwolle. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. Louisa-Christin Lippmann (born 23 September 1994) is a German female volleyball player. She plays as an outside hitter or opposite and has over 100 appearances for the Germany women's national volleyball team. At club level she currently plays for Lokomotiv Kaliningrad. Robin de Kruijf (born 5 May 1991) is a Dutch volleyball player for Imoco Volley and Netherlands national team. Robin de Kruijf made her debut in the Dutch national team in the Dutch opening match of the Montreux Volley Masters against Cuba in June 2008 at the age of 22. Eda Erdem Dündar (, born Eda Erdem; 22 June 1987) is a Turkish professional volleyball player. She currently plays for both Fenerbahçe SK and the national team and is the captain of both teams. Career Eda Erdem has been playing for Fenerbahçe with jersey number 14 since 2008. Before she joined Fenerbahçe, she had played for Beşiktaş for 4 years (2004–2008). Hanna Orthmann (born 3 October 1998) is a German volleyball player who plays for Türk Hava Yolları SK in the Turkish Women's Volleyball League (Turkish: Sultanlar Ligi). She participated in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. Career Hanna Orthmann played youth volleyball at SC Union 08 Lüdinghausen.
