''Voices of Transgression – A 90s Retrospective'' is a compilation album by German thrash metal band Kreator. It was released in 1999 by GUN Records. This "Greatest hits, best of" collection, compiled by Mille Petrozza, includes only songs from the band's albums recorded in the 1990s and features three previously unreleased songs: "Inferno", "As We Watch the West" and "Lucretia (My Reflection)" which was originally written and performed by The Sisters of Mercy. Kreator
Kreator is a German thrash metal band from Essen, formed in 1982. Their current line-up consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Mille Petrozza, Miland "Mille" Petrozza, drummer Jürgen Reil, Jürgen "Ventor" Reil, lead guitarist Sami Yli-Sirniö, and bassist Frédéric Leclercq. The band's line-up has changed multiple times throughout its -year career, most noticeably with their bassists and lead guitarists. Petrozza and Reil are the only two original members left in Kreator, although the latter had left the band in 1994 but rejoined in 1996. Yli-Sirniö has been the lead guitarist of Kreator since 2001, while Leclercq joined in 2019 as the replacement of Christian "Speesy" Giesler, who had been in the band since 1994. Raw Power (band)
Raw Power is an Italian hardcore punk band from Reggio Emilia, formed in 1981. History Raw Power was formed in 1981 in Poviglio in the Italian province of Reggio Emilia by brothers Mauro (vocals) and Giuseppe Codeluppi (guitar). Through the years the band has lived through several line-up changes and the two brothers were the only stable members until Giuseppe's death in 2002. The band's name came from The Stooges's third album. Previously, the Codeluppi brothers had played in another band called Off Limits. Other members in Raw Power's first line-up were Silvio (guitar and vocals), bassist Maurizio Dodi (who came from punk band Chelsea Hotel) and teenager drummer Helder Stefanini. ''Renewal'' is the sixth album by German thrash metal band Kreator, released in 1992. It's their first "experimental" album, as in this release Kreator incorporated industrial music influences in their songwriting. It is also the last album to feature original bassist Rob Fioretti. The song "Karmic Wheel" contains audio samples from the suicide of R. Budd Dwyer. A music video was made for the title track. ''Outcast'' is the eighth studio album by German thrash metal band Kreator. It was released by G.U.N. Records in 1997. This album featured more gothic and industrial influences than earlier Kreator, retaining little of the thrash metal from previous years. ''Outcast'' is also Kreator's first album to feature drummer Jürgen "Ventor" Reil since 1992's '' Renewal'', and the first to feature then-former Coroner guitarist Tommy Vetterli. ''Cause for Conflict'' is the seventh studio album by German thrash metal band Kreator released on 1 August, 1995. The record continued the experimentation with industrial music that they started on previous album, '' Renewal'', but brought back more of their thrash metal sound. The Sisters Of Mercy
The Sisters of Mercy are an English rock band formed in Leeds in 1980. After achieving early underground fame, the band experienced a commercial breakthrough in the mid-1980s, sustaining their success until the early 1990s, when they halted the release of new records in protest against their record company, WEA. Currently, although the band operates primarily as a touring outfit, they continue to perform new and unreleased music live. Collector's Guide Publishing (CGP) is a Canadian publisher based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. History The company's first publication was Robert Godwin's Illustrated Collector's Guide to Led Zeppelin released in 1987. Owner Godwin also founded the independent record label Griffin Music in 1989. CGP would supply books for music collectors to the Griffin label for inclusion in box sets with accompanying compact discs. CD/Book packages included sets by Hawkwind, Motörhead, Wishbone Ash and Olivia Newton-John. In 1998 Godwin started an imprint called Apogee Books specifically for publishing space flight related books.
