Voices (Ann Lee Song)
"Voices" is a 1999 song recorded by British Italian-based singer Ann Lee. As the follow-up to her successful hit "2 Times", it was co-written by Lee with Marco Soncini and Paul Sears, and released on her debut album, ''Dreams'' (1999). The single was a moderate success in Europe, peaking within the top 10 in the Czech Republic, Denmark (number three) and Spain. Additionally it reached the top 20 in Austria, Belgium and Scotland. In 2000, it peaked at number 27 on the UK Singles Chart. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it reached number 55 in November 1999. The accompanying music video for "Voices" sees Ann Lee performing in a forest, among giant mushrooms. Annerley Emma Gordon (born 12 November 1967), most known professionally as Ann Lee, is a British-born Italian eurodance singer and songwriter who rose to fame in the late 1990s. She is known primarily for her hit singles "2 Times" and " Voices", both released in 1999. She is also known for being the studio vocalist on the first four albums for the Italian Eurodance group Whigfield . The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting.
