Voice of OC is a non-profit news agency in Orange County, California. Voice of OC was founded in June 2009 and started publishing March 31, 2010. Since then, Voice has published thousands of news articles about topics such as transportation, the environment, health, public safety, housing, homelessness, Ralph M. Brown Act issues and California Public Records Act issues. The news agency's reporting on a property swap involving Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido prompted an investigation by the city attorney into the issue. Erwin Chemerinsky (born May 14, 1953) is an American legal scholar known for his studies of United States constitutional law and federal civil procedure. Since 2017, Chemerinsky has been the dean of the UC Berkeley School of Law. Previously, he also served as the inaugural dean of the University of California, Irvine School of Law from 2008 to 2017. The ''Register'', published in Orange County, California, is owned by the private equity firm Alden Global Capital via its Digital Fiest/Media News subsidiaries.
