Vogjani
Vogjani ( mk, Воѓани, also transliterated ') is a small village situated in North Macedonia. It lies at the end of a cluster of villages including Bela Crkva and Krušeani. The river Crna runs alongside the village. Its position makes it the final village in its part of the Municipality of Krivogaštani (within the Pelagonia statistical region), with bordering Bučin further down the Crna being in the neighbouring Kruševo Municipality. The settlement has an absolute Macedonian majority. The village has a post office and has a rail link with the municipality (''opština'') of Demir Hisar. The rail link continues to the village of Sopotnica and was constructed in late 1950. The line was a link between the upper Demir Hisar region and the Bakarno Gumno exchange, which was then included within the rest of the wider rail network. Krivogaštani Municipality ( mk, ) is a municipality in the western part of North Macedonia. '' Krivogaštani'' is also the name of the village where the municipal seat is found. This municipality is part of the Pelagonia Statistical Region. Geography The municipality borders Kruševo Municipality to the west, Dolneni Municipality to the north, Prilep Municipality to the east, and Mogila Municipality to the south. Demographics According to the last national census from 2021, the municipality has 5,167 inhabitants. Crna River (Vardar)
Crna River ( mk, , Crna Reka, "Black River") is a river in North Macedonia. It is the right tributary of the Vardar River. It runs through much of the south and west of the country. Its source is in the mountains on the western part of North Macedonia, northwest of Demir Hisar. It enters the Pelagonia valley at the village of Buchin and then flows through the village Sopotnica, and southwards through the plains east of Bitola. At Brod (Novaci Municipality) it turns northeast. It leaves the Pelagonia valley at the Staravina village and goes in the biggest canyon in North Macedonia, the Skočivir valley and flows into the Vardar River between Rosoman and Gradsko. Thus, the river makes a bend of almost 180 degrees east of Bitola. This bend was part of the Macedonian front in World War I. Sopotnica, Demir Hisar
Sopotnica ( mk, Сoпoτница) is a village in North Macedonia. It used to be a separate municipality but is now part of the Demir Hisar Municipality. The area of Sopotnica includes a mix of rural and urban environments. Settled areas range from smaller villages such as Boište, Cerovo and Virovo, located in the mountainous area of Sopotnica, to places with elements of urban living, such as Sopotnica, the administrative centre of the former Municipality of Sopotnica. Bučin
Bučin (Macedonian Cyrillic: Бучин) is a village which lies in the Municipality of Kruševo, Kruševo district of North Macedonia on both banks of the Crna River (Vardar), Crna River. The village maintains a distinct bridge built in the Ottoman Empire, and is home to a unique old building constructed above the surface of the Crna River. The village now known as Bucin was part of the land of Ancient Macedonia called Alcomenae or Alkomenai which was a town of the Deuriopes on the Erigon, in the Pelagonia Region in Ancient Macedonia. Krusheani ( Macedonian: Крушеани) is a village in the Krivogaštani municipality (near Prilep) in North Macedonia. Demographics Krušeani appears in the 1467-68 Ottoman defter. The register displayed a largely mixed Slavic-Albanian anthroponymy, with instances of individuals bearing both Slavic and Albanian names.
