Vivek Vedagiri
Vivek Vedagiri (born 9 September 1981) is a Singaporean cricketer. He made his List A debut in the 2006 ACC Trophy and was a member of the Singaporean cricket team at the 2009 ICC World Cricket League Division Six tournament. Vedagiri was a member of the national team which won the gold medal in the men's T20 cricket tournament and was also part of the national side which won the silver medal in the men's 50-over tournament after an embarrassing defeat with a margin of 251 runs in the finals against Malaysia Malaysia ( ; ) is a country in Southeast Asia. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). 2006 ACC Trophy
The 2006 ACC Trophy was a cricket tournament in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, taking place between 14 August and 26 August 2006. It gave associate and affiliate members of the Asian Cricket Council experience in international one-day cricket. This was the last tournament in which all teams played in the same tournament. After this tournament, the Asian Cricket Council decided to split the tournament into two divisions. The top ten teams would be promoted to the 2008 ACC Trophy Elite and the rest of the teams would be relegated to the 2009 ACC Trophy Challenge.
