Virginia Governor's Cabinet
The Virginia Governor's Cabinet is a body of the most senior appointed officers of the executive branch of the government of Virginia. The Cabinet is responsible for advising the Governor of Virginia. Cabinet officers are nominated by the Governor and then presented to the Virginia General Assembly for confirmation. Once confirmed, all members of the Cabinet receive the title "Secretary" and serve at the pleasure of the Governor. The current Cabinet is serving under Governor of Virginia Glenn Youngkin. In General Appointment Each Cabinet Secretary is appointed by the Governor of Virginia, subject to confirmation by the Virginia General Assembly if in session when the appointment is made. Todd Patterson Haymore is an American civil servant who served as Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade in the administration of Governor Terry McAuliffe. He previously served as the Virginia Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry under Governor Bob McDonnell and Terry McAuliffe.
