Victor Guillermo Ramos Rangel
Victor Guillermo Ramos Rangel (February 10, 1911, Cúa, Miranda state, Venezuela – December 10, 1986, Caracas) was a Venezuelan classical musician. Started his career in the Caracas Musical Declamation Academy (nowadays renamed in honor to José Ángel Lamas), where he graduated as composer. Ramos was one of the first students of Vicente Emilio Sojo and helped him in the compilation of Venezuelan folk songs. In 1930, he is part of the founders of the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra and the Orfeón Lamas. In this orchestra dedicated to execute the Bassoon. From 1941 to 1950, he was professor in Caracas' public schools such as: ''19 de abril'', ''Rubén González'', ''Ricardo Zuloaga'' and ''Gabriela Mistral." In 1945, Ramos worked for the Education Ministry and was a music professor in the Cultural Direction of Caracas. In 1947 he married Dilia Díaz Cisneros, with whom he had a daughter and two sons. Cúa
Cúa (founded in 1690) is a small city capital of the Urdaneta Municipality, located in the Miranda State (Estado Miranda) in the north of Venezuela with an altitude of 490 m. Cúa is noted for warm and clear weather, with year-round sunshine and 60 days of rainfall annually, and an average temperature that range from 18 °C to 28 °C, but with relative low humidity. With leafy forest and meadows, Cúa has a population of 123,000 (2004), mainly dedicated to services and industry (plastic pipes, paper rolls) it's a dormitory town. Dilia Díaz Cisneros
Dilia Elena Díaz Cisneros (June 1, 1925 – July 10, 2017) was a Venezuelan teacher and poet born in El Hatillo, Miranda and married Victor Guillermo Ramos Rangel in 1947. She was the founder of the public schools "Bogotá", "Los Jardines" and "Caracciolo Parra León" in Caracas. Díaz Cisneros died of natural causes at the age of 92 in Caracas.
