William Cail
William Henry Cail (28 February 1849 in Gateshead – 25 November 1925 in Newcastle upon Tyne) was an English rugby pioneer. William Cail introduced rugby in Cannstatt in 1865. That was the beginning of a community of players which founded later the predecessor clubs of VfB Stuttgart. William Cail established the Northern Football Club. In association football, the referee is the person responsible for interpreting and enforcing the Laws of the Game during a match. The referee is the final decision-making authority on all facts connected with play, and is the match official with the authority to start and stop play and impose disciplinary action against players and coaches during a match. Table tennis, also known as ping-pong and whiff-whaff, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball, also known as the ping-pong ball, back and forth across a table using small solid rackets.
