Emil Vett
Emil Vett (7 November 1843 – 18 February 1911) was a Danish businessman who was a co-founder of Magasin du Nord. Early life and education Vatt was born on 7 November 1843 in Rødby on Lolland, the son of medical doctor Julius Theodor Emil Vett (1808–1869) and Karen Petrine Bjørn (1813–1881). At the age of 14, he became an apprentice in C. B. Christensen's textile shop in Aarhus. He worked in the shop for a total of nine years and ended up heading it for around a year after the owner had fallen ill. After C. B. Christensen's death, Vett worked briefly in Emil Secher's fashion shop. Career In 1868 Vett established Emil Vett & Co. in a partnership with Th. Wessel. In 1876 Vett and Wessel moved the firm to Copenhagen. Over the next years it developed into the largest department store in the country under the name Magasin du Nord. ''RollBots'' is a Canadian animated television series created by Michael Milligan (screen name "MCM") and produced by Amberwood Entertainment. The TV show premiered in Canada on YTV on February 7, 2009, and in the United States on The CW4Kids on September 19, 2009. The series was cancelled on December 1, 2009 after one season. Plot The series is set in Flip City, home of eleven different RollBot tribes. The show follows Spin and the members of the Flip City Police Department (FCPD) as they fight crime. Characters Good Bots Spin (Sam Vincent): Spin is the main character of the series and the last member of the Zushin tribe. The fastest RollBot in Flip City, Spin's bot mods include Skyv boots, hyper-speed, and boomstick. He joined the Kei'zatsu tribe, but he does not feel a sense of belonging. The Del-Vetts
The Del-Vetts were an American garage rock band formed in Chicago, Illinois, in 1963. They released five singles and obtained regional success in the Midwest. Band The first lineup of the band consisted of Jim Lauer ( lead vocals, lead guitar), Bob Good (bass guitar), Lester Goldboss ( rhythm guitar) and Paul Wade ( drums), Jeff Gerchenson (vocals & rhythm guitar), originally performing cover versions of Chuck Berry songs and surf rock standards, and developing a loyal following in Chicago. The Del-Vetts' initial membership was not the most well-known incarnation of the band, though they did team up with record producer, Bill Traut, in 1965, to record a rendition of The Righteous Brothers' hit, "Little Latin Lupe Lu", on the small Seeburg Records label. Micro-Vett
Micro-Vett was an Italian company manufacturing electric vehicles. History Beginning Micro-Vett was founded in 1986 in Voltana di Lugo (Ravenna, RA) by three shareholders including Mr. Galli and Mr. Giacomoni. A new four-wheel electric vehicle, similar to current Motorised quadricycle, quadricycles, the Lady, was developed and built from scratch. Starting from 1989 Coop. Car, a cooperative from Imola, gradually acquired Micro-Vett shares becoming majority shareholder and transferring the headquarters to Imola. At that time, the management faced difficulties related to manufacturing vehicles and decided to focus solely on electrification components.
