Veterans Parkway (also known as Southwest Bypass) is a long freeway in the Savannah metropolitan area, connecting Georgetown, Chatham County, Georgia, Georgetown with downtown Savannah, Georgia, Savannah, completely within Chatham County, Georgia, Chatham County. It is not a state route, nor is it maintained by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT); it is one of a handful of county-maintained freeways in Georgia. Other county maintained freeways include Ronald Reagan Parkway, Harry S. Truman Parkway, and a portion of the Ernest W. Barrett Parkway#East–West Connector, East–West Connector in Cobb County, Georgia, Cobb County. Most of the route parallels Hunter Army Airfield (Hunter AAF), which is located to the east of the highway. Veterans Parkway (Conway, South Carolina)
South Carolina Highway 22 (SC 22), also known as the Conway Bypass and Veterans Highway, is a four lane freeway that connects US 501 north of Conway, South Carolina, to US 17 in Myrtle Beach. The road was opened to traffic on May 4, 2001, six months ahead of schedule. There is speculation that it could become part of Interstate 73 in the future. The road largely meets Interstate Highway standards, but in order to support increased Interstate traffic, its shoulders would need to be expanded to standard width. Route Description History In 1994, the original contract with Fluor Daniel called for six lanes from US 17 to SC 905 and four lanes the rest of the way to US 501. Veterans Parkway (Sioux Falls, South Dakota)
South Dakota Highway 100 (SD 100) is the designation of a future state highway that will be built south and east of Interstate 229 (I-229) as a second southeastern bypass of Sioux Falls. The highway will run from exit 73 on I-29 east and north to exit 402 on I-90. This highway is currently named Veterans Parkway on its route from Interstate 90 to 57th Street in Sioux Falls. Route description SD 100 is expected to facilitate commercial and residential growth in the eastern section of the city of Sioux Falls. It will also serve as a second eastern bypass of the city, running roughly parallel to I-229 and about outside of it. As proposed, SD 100 will begin at the single-point urban interchange (SPUI) at exit 73 along I-29 east of Tea. The Beach Cities Greenway in Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach, California is a rail trail. The greenway is a linear park on the median between Valley Drive running along the west side and Ardmore Avenue on the east. Northern trailhead of the Beach Cities greenway is Sepulveda Blvd. and Valley Drive opposite the Manhattan Village shopping center in Manhattan Beach; southern trailhead is Herondo Street and Valley Drive at the Hermosa Beach-Redondo Beach municipal boundary. (Note: Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo are collectively called the Beach Cities.) Hermosa's section is officially named the Hermosa Valley Greenbelt.
