Narodnyy Klub Veres Rivne ( uk, РНК «Верес») is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Rivne. The club competes in the Ukrainian Premier League, the top tier of Ukrainian football, after winning the 2020–21 Ukrainian First League. Their home stadium until 2017 was Avanhard Stadium. As it is under reconstruction, they currently play home matches at Avanhard Stadium in Lutsk. Maria Elizabeth Ender, better known as Mariska Veres () (1 October 1947 – 2 December 2006), was a Dutch singer who was best known as the lead singer of the rock group Shocking Blue. Described as being similar to a young Cher, she was known for her sultry voice, eccentric performances, and her striking appearance which featured kohl-rimmed eyes, high cheekbones, and long jet black hair, which was actually a wig. Valentina Ivanovna Veres, in Ukrainian: Валентина Іванівна Верес (born 1951) is a Ukrainian textile artist and master weaver, who was appointed an Honoured Artist of Ukraine in 1999. She is the daughter of folk artist Hanna Veres. Biography Veres was born in 1951 in the village of Obukhovychi in the Vyshhorod Raion of Kyiv region to folk artist Hanna Veres. She is the grand-daughter of the artist Maria Posobchuk and the daughter of the artist Hanna Veres. Her sister is also an artist. In 1970 Veres graduated from the . From 1988 until its closure in 1992 Veres took an active part in the creation of the Weaving Museum in Obukhovychi. Pálné Veres (née: Hermin Beniczky, 1815–1895) was a Hungarian teacher and feminist, known for promoting women's rights, opening the first secondary school for women in Hungary and founding the Hungarian National Association for Women's Education. Life Pálné Veres was born on December 13, 1815 in Lázi, then part of the Austrian Empire. Her original name was Hermin Beniczky. After her marriage, according to Hungarian tradition, she wore the name of her husband Pál Veres ("né" means 'wife of'). Her father Pál Beniczky was a Protestant landowner from a noble family of Nograd, while her mother Karolina Sturmann came from a family, which became wealthy through commerce. János Veres
János Veres (born 5 February 1957) is a Hungarian politician, who served as Minister of Finance between 2005 and 2009. He was a member of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party since 1980. He served as first secretary of the party's committee of Nyírbátor from 1988 to 1989. He was a founding member of the Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP) in 1990. He became a member of the National Assembly of Hungary in 1994. He served as deputy chairman of the Committee of Economics many times. Randolf Ruhland Veres (November 25, 1965 – November 13, 2016) was a Major League Baseball pitcher. He was 6'3" tall, weighed 210 pounds and was right-handed. He attended Cordova High School.
