Ventadour Lake (Ventadour River)
The Ventadour Lake is a freshwater body of the southeastern portion of the Eeyou Istchee James Bay (municipality), in Jamésie, in the administrative region of Nord-du-Québec, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. This body of water extends in the townships of Ventadour and Feuquières. Forestry is the main economic activity of the sector. Recreational tourism activities come second. The hydrographic slope of Lake Ventadour is accessible via the forest road R1032 (North-South direction) which passes on the west side of lakes Gabriel and Ventadour; in addition, this road crosses the Ventadour River south of Ventadour Lake to merge south on route 212 which passes on the south side of the Ventadour River, connecting Obedjiwan to La Tuque. The surface of Ventadour Lake is usually frozen from early November to mid-May, however, safe ice circulation is generally from mid-November to mid-April. Baie-James
The Municipality of Baie-James (french: Municipalité de Baie-James) was a municipality in northern Quebec, Canada, which existed from 1971 to 2012. Located to the east of James Bay, Baie-James covered of land, making it the largest incorporated municipality in Canada — only eight Unorganized area (Canada), unorganized territories were larger. Its territory almost entirely (about 98%) covered the administrative region of Jamésie, although it contained less than five percent of the population. Wapous River
The Wapous River is a tributary of the Gouin Reservoir, flowing in the territory of the town of La Tuque, in the administrative region of Mauricie, in Quebec, in Canada. The Gouin Reservoir () is a man-made lake, in La Tuque, in Mauricie, in the central portion of the Canadian province of Quebec, fully within the boundaries of the City of La Tuque. Poutrincourt Lake is a freshwater body of the unorganized territory of Lac-Ashuapmushuan, Quebec, in the western part of the Regional County Municipality (MRC) Le Domaine-du-Roy, in the administrative region of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, in province of Quebec, in Canada.
