''Vengeance of Rannah'' is a 1936 American Western film directed by Bernard B. Ray, produced by Ray and Harry S. Webb for Reliable Pictures, and starring Bob Custer and Rin Tin Tin, Jr. Plot Insurance investigator Ted Sanders is assigned to look into a robbery/murder. When he arrives at the crime scene he is met by a local deputy. What he doesn't know, however, is that the "deputy" is actually part of the gang that committed the crime. He plants some of the stolen money in Sanders' room to frame him for the crime, then arrests him. Roger Grimes Williams (February 8, 1898 – December 18, 1964) was an American actor of the 1930s. Born on February 8, 1898, in Denver, Colorado, his family moved to the Los Angeles area during the early 1900s. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I, being awarded several decorations. Married several times, he entered the film industry in the early 1930s, where he worked for several years. Married three times, he had a short film career during the 1930s, after which not much is known of his life, until his death in Los Angeles in 1964. Early life Williams was born in Denver, Colorado, on February 8, 1898, to Charles H. Williams and Evangeline Lloyd. He was the oldest of seven children. By 1910 the family had moved to California, and were living Belvedere, which was in Los Angeles County. Eddie Phillips (August 14, 1899 – February 22, 1965) was an American actor. He appeared in 180 films between 1913 and 1952. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died in a traffic accident in Hollywood, California. He started as a child actor and during his career also amassed an extensive list of Broadway and television musical credits; once performing in the Soviet Union. Phillips is prominently featured on the 1960 revival cast recording of '' Oh, Kay!'' in the title song and "Fidgety Feet." Victoria Vinton, born Victoria Velnette Vinton (August 23, 1912 – June 12, 1980) was an early B-movie actress, starring in over thirty films from 1932 into 1940, mostly in westerns. Early life Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Victor Vinton and Lucille Vinton Strahl. She had a younger sister, Violet. Vinton was a good looking young woman in her youth, and was often called in her acting days "a Jean Harlow look alike". Victoria Vinton and her sister, Violet (1914-2003), relocated with their father to California following their parents' divorce. Their father found work alongside his brother-in-law as a motion picture cameraman, but his long hours meant that his daughters were alternately raised by their grandmother as well as an aunt and uncle.
