Valee Taylor, known mononymously as Valee, is an American rapper known for his mixtape ''1988'' which got him signed to Kanye West's record label GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings. He released ''GOOD Job, You Found Me'' on March 2, 2018. The first song he released was with Ty Money ("Cash Don't Bend"). Early life Valee Taylor grew up on Chicago's South Side, living in the Robert Taylor Homes and moving repeatedly once they were demolished. Valee has said his mother exposed him to musicians such as Erykah Badu, Sade, Jill Scott all at an early age. To this day, he still references the artists showed to him at a young age as heavily influential on his current music. Taylor was well trained as an auto mechanic and made money by working on people's automobiles from his mothers garage. Throughout his schooling, he had repeated issues with anger and his outbursts led to him being kicked out of numerous schools. Sylvain Charles Valée
Sylvain-Charles, comte Valée (17 December 1773 – 16 August 1846), born in Brienne-le-Château, was a Marshal of France. Upon the outbreak of the French Revolution, Valée enlisted in the French revolutionary army and was sent to serve in the ''Army of the Nord''. Promoted to captain in 1795 and to lieutenant colonel in 1804, Valée distinguished himself in the Battle of Jena, after which he was promoted to colonel in 1807 and given command of the 1st Artillery Regiment. In 1809, Valée was made commander of the artillery of the III Corps in Spain, where he distinguished himself in the sieges of Lleida, Tarragona, Tortosa and Valencia. In 1811 Valée was promoted to ''général de division'' and in 1814 Napoléon created him a count. With the restoration of the House of Bourbon to the throne of France, Valée was made Inspector-General of the artillery. The Valée system (French:"Système Valée") was an artillery system developed between 1825 and 1831 by the French artillery officer Sylvain Charles Valée,''Elements of Military Art and History'' by Nicolas Édouard Delabarre-Duparcq, p.146-14/ref> and officially adopted by the French Army from 1828. Specifications The Valée system consisted in various technical improvements to the Gribeauval system and Napoleon I's Year XI system. The system mainly improved the mobility of the artillery train, and simplified maintenance by standardizing limber usage and wheel size, and reducing the number of carriage types to two. It also allowed for cannoniers to be able to sit on the ammunition chests of the battery itself during transportation, allowing the whole artillery train to move as fast as the infantry or cavalry.
