Vado Ligure
Vado Ligure ( lij, Voæ), in antiquity Vada Sabatia, is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Savona, Liguria, in northern Italy. Economy Vado has a large industrial and commercial port. Vado Ligure is home to a railway construction plant, founded in 1905 as Società Italiana Westinghouse. In 1919 it was taken over by Tecnomasio Italia Brown Boveri and, since 2001, it has been part of Bombardier Transportation. It currently produces the FS Class E.464 locomotives. Sant'Angelo in Vado is a ''comune'' (municipality), site of Ancient Tifernum Metaurense and former bishopric in the Province of Pesaro e Urbino in the central Italy, Italian Adriatic region Marche. Santa Maria in Vado is a church located on Via Borgovado number 3 in Ferrara, Region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy. History The church derives its name from a guado or fording (''vado'' in dialect) that was located nearby. A church at the site was documented since the tenth century, but on Easter of 1171, a eucharistic miracle occurred when blood spouted from the host during consecration. This made the church an object of pilgrimage. This miracle that appears to confirm transubstantiation resembles the subsequent events depicted in '' The Mass at Bolsena ''by Raphael. Reconstruction was started in 1495 under the patronage of Ercole de' Roberti under the designs of Biagio Rossetti. Vado is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Doña Ana County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 3,194 at the 2010 census. The ZIP code for Vado is 88072, its area code is 575, and it is part of the Las Cruces Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Founded in 1920 by Francis “Frank” Marion Boyer and his wife Ella Louise, after the previous freedom colony they founded, Blackdom, New Mexico, became a ghost town due to water well issues. El Vado Lake
El Vado Lake is a reservoir located in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, Rio Arriba County, in northern New Mexico in the southwestern United States. Water is impounded by the earthen dam, earth-filled El Vado Dam, on the Rio Chama (New Mexico), Rio Chama, long and high, completed in 1935. The lake is long and over wide, and lies at an elevation of . The eastern shore of the lake is the El Vado Lake State Park, featuring over 100 camping and picnic sites, and two improved boat ramps. The lake is a destination for salmon and trout fishing, as well as for boating. Unlike nearby Heron Lake (New Mexico), Heron Lake, boat speeds are not restricted. El Vado Dam
El Vado Dam impounds the Rio Chama in the U.S. state of New Mexico, about north-northwest of New Mexico's largest city, Albuquerque and about northwest of the capital city of Santa Fe. The earth-filled structure forms El Vado Lake, a storage reservoir for the Middle Rio Grande Project, and has been designated as a New Mexico Historic Civil Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Civil Engineers. Construction The El Vado dam was originally built by the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District as a storage facility for irrigation water to be used in the Middle Rio Grande Basin. Construction began in 1933 and the dam was completed in 1935. Impoundment of the reservoir, which filled by 1936, inundated El Vado, the largest town of Rio Arriba County. The town's name meant "the crossing" in Spanish, and it was named so because it was an important ford and trading center on the Rio Chama during the 19th century. Prior, he signed to DJ Khaled's We the Best Music and was also a member of the duo U.N. with fellow New York rapper Cam'ron. Biography Early life Teyon Winfree was born on March 13, 1985.
