VW Söderberg Ladies Masters
The Rejmes Ladies Open was a women's professional golf tournament on the Swedish Golf Tour, played between 2002 and 2012. It was always held near Norrköping, Sweden. Tournament sponsor was initially , a local Volvo dealer. Lotta Wahlin from nearby Linköping won the tournament two successive years. In 2008, as part of the tour's major overhaul in conjunction with the introduction of the SAS Masters Tour, the tournament doubled its purse and was renamed the VW Söderbergs Ladies Masters, after the new sponsor Söderbergs, a local Volkswagen dealer. Notably, future LPGA Tour players Anna Nordqvist, Daniela Holmqvist and Camilla Lennarth Camilla Lennarth (born 16 June 1988) is a Swedish professional golfer who has played on the Ladies European Tour and U.S.-based LPGA Tour. The 2007 Swedish Golf Tour, known as the Telia Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the 22nd season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden and Finland. Amateur Caroline Hedwall won four events, and Norway's Marianne Skarpnord won the Order of Merit. Through her win, Skarpnord, along with Order of Merit runner-up Florence Lüscher from Switzerland, secured cards for the 2008 Ladies European Tour. The 2009 Swedish Golf Tour, known as the SAS Masters Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the 24th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden and Finland. 2009 was the second and final season with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) as main sponsor, as the airline ran into financial difficulties due to the Great Recession. Purses were reduced and the LET event Göteborg Masters, where 25 places were reserved for players of the tour, was cancelled.
