V. Irai Anbu is a 1988 batch Indian Administrative Service officer, writer, educator, social activist, and motivational speaker. He is the current Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu Government. Childhood Irai Anbu was born at Kattur village in Salem district on 16 June 1963. Born in a middle-class family, he wanted to live a well-intentioned life since his schooldays. His father's name is Venkatachalam and his Mother's name is Saroja. He has a brother named Thiruppugazh who is also an IAS Officer. He also has two sisters namely Paingili and Insuvai. Cuddalore District
Cuddalore District is one of the 38 districts in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. History Since ancient times, the old town has been a seaport. Through the centuries, Cuddalore has been subject to a number of foreign powers including the Netherlands, Portugal, France and more recently, the British. In the 1600s, the French and English came to Cuddalore for trade and business. The French established a settlement at Pondicherry and the British at Cuddalore. DD Podhigai is Doordarshan's Tamil language channel. It is broadcast both terrestrially and via satellite. Kanchipuram District
Kancheepuram district is one of the 38 districts in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. The area comprising the present day Kancheepuram district was earlier a part of Chingleput district. The original Chingleput district was split in 1997 into form the present day Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur districts. On 18 July 2019, Chengalpattu district was carved out of Kanchipuram district, with suburbs from Chengalpet towards Chennai under the district headquarters in Chengalpet. South Arcot District was a district in the Madras Presidency of British India. It covered the area of the present-day districts of Cuddalore, Kallakurichi and Viluppuram in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The district was divided into eight taluks and covered a total area of . Narikurava
The Narikurava, also called Narikuravar ( IAST: ), are an indigenous group from Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The main occupation of the people who originally belong to the indigenous tribes is hunting. But as they were prohibited entry into the forests to pursue this livelihood, they were forced to take up other alternatives such as selling beaded ornaments to survive. Hence, they migrate from place to place to find a market for their beads. Children accompany the adults wherever they go, which means they never get to attend school. During British rule in India they were placed under the Criminal Tribes Act of 1871, and hence stigmatized for a long time, including after Independence. They were denotified in 1952, though the stigma continues.
