Justice V. D. Tulzapurkar (9 March, 1921 – 1 October, 2004) B.A., LL.B., Attorney-at-Law, was a judge of the Supreme Court of India from 30 September 1977 until 9 March 1986. He received his education at Wilson High School, Wilson College and Government Law College, Bombay. The Wilson College, established in 1832 in Mumbai, is one of India's oldest colleges; its foundation precedes that of the University of Mumbai, to which it is affiliated, by 25 years. The High Court of Bombay is the high court of the states of Maharashtra and Goa in India, and the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. It is seated primarily at Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), and is one of the oldest high courts in India.
