Asian Football Confederation
The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in Oceania Football Confederation, OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, both Territories of the United States, territories of the United States, are also AFC members that are geographically in Oceania. The Asian Ladies Football Confederation (ALFC) was the section of AFC who managed women's association football in Asia. The group was independently founded in April 1968 in a meeting involving Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. In 1986 ALFC merged with AFC. 2011 Uzbekistan Cup
The 2011 Uzbekistan Cup was the 19th season of the annual Uzbek football Cup competition. The competition started on April 17, 2011 and ended on November 13, 2011 with the final that was held at the Pakhtakor Markaziy Stadium in Tashkent. Bunyodkor were the defending champions. The cup winner were guaranteed a place in the 2012 AFC Champions League. Calendar First round Bracket Round of 32 The draw for the Round of 32 was held on 24 February 2011 at Uzbek Football Federation office in Tashkent. FC Shurtan Guzar
FC Shurtan Guzar ( uz, Sho'rtan G'uzor professional futbol klubi or Шўртан Ғузор футбол клуби) is an Uzbek football club based in G‘uzor, Uzbekistan. History During its first years the club played in the lower divisions of Uzbekistan. In 2006 FC Shurtan made its debut in the Uzbek League. The 2010 season was the club's most successful season when they finished 4th in the league and were runners-up in the Uzbek Cup. In the quarter-final of the Uzbek Cup they beat Pakhtakor on aggregate and Lokomotiv Tashkent in the semi-final. Shurtan lost in the Final match, played in Tashkent, to Bunyodkor. The final score was 0–1. In 2011 Shurtan made its international debut, playing in the AFC Cup. The club managed 2nd place in the group stage, but lost in their one legged round of 16 match against Al Wehdat. The final score being 1–2. On 22 November 2011 ''Shurtan'' management appointed Igor Kriushenko as new head coach, he replaced Tachmurad Agamuradov. Krius ...
