Uwe Schünemann
Uwe Schuenemann (born 8 August 1964) is a German politician ( Christian Democratic Union of Germany) and former interior minister of the German state of the federation Lower Saxony. In the course of his office, he is known for relatively hard-line stances. Biography Schünemann attended ''Gymnasium an der Wilhelmstraße'' (later ''Campe-Gymnasium'') in Holzminden, where he acquired his ''Abitur'' in 1984. After that he completed his training as an industrial clerk, before doing his basic military service in 1987/1988. Preceding his election to the Landtag in 1994, he was employed as industrial clerk at ''Haarmann & Reimer GmbH'' (today Symrise) in Holzminden. For several years he played Basketball at MTV Altendorf, reaching Bezirksoberliga of Lower Saxony. Schünemann is member of the Schützenverein ''Sportschützenclub v.1955 e.V. Holzminden''. Cabinet McAllister
The Cabinet McAllister was the state government of the German state of Lower Saxony from 1 July 2010 to 19 February 2013. The Cabinet was headed by Minister President David McAllister. After the election of Christian Wulff as president of Germany, McAllister was elected and sworn in as Minister President by the Landtag of Lower Saxony on 15 December 1999 It is notable for being the first modern cabinet in Germany headed by a person holding dual citizenship (German and British), although Germany, its states and its various predecessors have previously had many politicians of foreign, including French, Polish, Italian and Slovene, ancestry. The Bezirksoberliga ( en, Football County Premier League) was the seventh tier of the German football league system in the state of Bavaria from 1988 to 2012. The Bezirksoberligas have also existed in other states of Germany, like Hesse and Lower Saxony. In Hesse, they were renamed to Gruppenligas, in Lower Saxony to Landesligas. White IT is an initiative with the objective to identify adequate actions against child pornography in the internet. In the context of this initiative, the delegates of victims' associations, internet companies, the IT industry and medical associations are co-operating on the basis of a Memorandum of Understanding.
