Uttara FC ( bn, উত্তরা এফসি) is a football team from Dhaka, Bangladesh. The team is currently one of Bangladesh Championship League (BCL). History On 5 February 2020, Bangladesh Football Federation gave the green signal to the club to participate in 2019–20 Bangladesh Championship League. The prime purpose of the club to bring back professionalism in Bangladesh football arena. 2022–23 Bangladesh Championship League
The 2022–23 Bangladesh Championship League will be the 11th season of the Bangladesh Championship League since its establishment in 2012. A total of 11 football clubs will be competing in the league. Fortis FC were the champion of previous 2021–22 season. NoFel Sporting Club ( bn, নোফেল স্পোর্টিং ক্লাব) is a football team of Bangladesh, based on Noakhali. The current name NoFeL is an acronym for Noakhali Feni & Lakhsmipur. The club competes in the Bangladesh Championship League, the second tier of Bangladesh football. Nofel played in the Bangladesh Premier League, country's top tier association football league, for first time in 2018-2019 season after being runners-up of 2017 Bangladesh Championship League. However, they suffered relegation in the same season. Independence Cup is a cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1972 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation, which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The ''Daily Naya Diganta'' ( bn, দৈনিক নয়া দিগন্ত ''Doinik Noya Digonto'') is a Bengali daily newspaper published in Bangladesh since 2004. History It is part of Diganta Media Corporation which was owned by Mir Quasem Ali, a Jammat-e-Islami Bangladesh politician. The television channel, Diganta TV, is a sister concern of the newspaper. The television was launched in August 2008. Alamgir Mohiuddin is the editor of Naya Diganta. Daily Naya Diganta reporter was cautioned for misrepresenting a statement of prosecution witness in the International Crimes Tribunal in January 2012. ''The Daily Observer'' is a newspaper published in Bakau in Banjul, the Gambia. The paper, Gambia's first daily newspaper,Gabriel I. H. Williams, ''Liberia: the heart of darkness'', Trafford Publishing, 2002, p.333 was founded by Mae Gene and Kenneth Best in 1990. Kenneth Best had previously managed another paper called the ''Daily Observer'' in Liberia, until the First Liberian Civil War caused him to relocate with his family to the Gambia. In October 1994, following Yahya Jammeh's military coup, Best was expelled from Gambia, although the newspaper was allowed to continue.
