''Utricularia densiflora'' is a carnivorous plant in the genus '' Utricularia'' and is endemic to Brazil. It is a hydrophytic herb that has stolons up to long. It produces inflorescences around long with the bracts and flowers arranged spirally around the inflorescence. The species epithet ''densiflora'' refers to the density of flowers that each plant produces, which typically ranges from 15 to 23 flowers congested near the top of the inflorescence. Beneath the lowermost opened flower, there are several rudimentary or dormant flower buds that make it unique in the genus, along with other diagnostic characteristics. Chapada Dos Veadeiros National Park
Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park ( pt, Parque Nacional da Chapada dos Veadeiros) is a national park of Brazil located in the state of Goiás, on the top of an ancient plateau with an estimated age of 1.8 billion years. The park was created on January 11, 1961 by President Juscelino Kubitschek, and listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2001. There are around 240 species in the genus ''Utricularia'', belonging to the bladderwort family (Lentibulariaceae). It is the largest genus of carnivorous plants and has a worldwide distribution, being absent only from Antarctica and the oceanic islands. This genus was considered to have 250 species until Peter Taylor reduced the number to 214 in his exhaustive study, ''The genus Utricularia - a taxonomic monograph'', published by HMSO (1989).
