Utah State Route 106
State Route 106 (SR-106) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah, running northerly from Bountiful to Farmington. Most of the road is the old route of US-89/ US-91, and once extended further along that old alignment in each direction. Route description The route begins at a partial diamond interchange at I-15 on exit 317. The highway heads east on 400 North, a four-lane undivided highway. The route continues through Bountiful and turns north on Main Street, a two-lane undivided road. The route continues north into Centerville. North of Chase Lane, the road begins turning northwest. By Lund Lane, the road heads due north again. By this point, the route becomes 200 East. As the highway enters Farmington, 200 East becomes State Street. Immediately after, the route turns north on Main Street. The route then turns northwest and continues in this manner until a diamond interchange with US-89 at exit 396, where it terminates. It serves as a diagonal route through the Ogden suburbs and the primary connector from northbound I-15 to eastbound I-84 and westbound I-84 to southbound I-15. State Route 126 (SR-126) is a highway completely within the Ogden-Clearfield metropolitan area in northern Utah that makes a loop around Interstate 15 in its more than twenty-one mile path. The street is given the names Main Street, 1900 West and 2000 West respectively from south to north. Previous to 1977, SR-126 was a road in southern Utah. A portion of the highway is an old routing of US-91. Route description After its southern terminus, the route heads northwest in Layton. After entering Clearfield, the route turns straight to the north. It continues this direction through Sunset, Roy, and West Haven before veering to the northwest when the highway reaches Marriott-Slaterville. Kaysville, UT
Kaysville is a city in Davis County, Utah. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield metropolitan area. The population was 27,300 at the time of the 2010 census, with an estimated population of 32,390 in 2019. History Shortly after Latter Day Saint pioneers arrived in 1847, the Kaysville area, originally known as "Kay's Creek" or Kay's Ward, was settled by Hector Haight in 1850 as a farming community. He had been sent north to find feed for the stock and soon thereafter constructed a cabin and brought his family to settle the area.
