Dubăsari District
The Dubăsari District () is a district in the east of Moldova, with the administrative center at Cocieri. As of January 1, 2011, its population was 35,200. This does not include the 715 people that live in the village of Roghi, which is controlled by the breakaway Tiraspol authorities. ''Dubăsari'' means ferry-arks (see coat of arms). History The territory which today is part of Dubăsari district has been inhabited since the Stone Age (50–30000 years BC). Location of the earliest documentary attestation of the district is Corjova, first attested in 1362. Other town with old certificate is Holercani village certified in 1464. Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) is one of the names of the UTC+03:00 time zone, which is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. It is used as a summer daylight saving time in some European and Middle Eastern countries, which makes it the same as Arabia Standard Time, East Africa Time, and Moscow Time. During the winter periods, Eastern European Time ( UTC+02:00) is used. Since 1996, European Summer Time has been applied from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October. Jurnal FM ( ro, Jurnal FM) is a Moldovan radio station owned by NGO Sănătatea. Jurnal FM started its broadcasting in 2009 as an internet radio station. Ștefan Urâtu
Ștefan Urâtu (born 9 January 1951) is a politician from Moldova. Biography Ștefan Urâtu studied at the Veterinary and Zootechnics College from Căușeni, Grigoriopol rayon (1966–1967). He carried out his compulsory military service in the Soviet army (1969–1972), in Budapest, Hungary. In 1977, he graduated from the State Pedagogical Institute from Tiraspol, the department of physics and mathematics. Between 1988–1992, Ștefan Urâtu was pro-dean of the department of physics and mathematics of the Tiraspol State University. He has published over 30 scientific articles in the area of physics of metals and applying the radioactive isotopes. Ștefan Urâtu was a Popular Front of Moldova member of the Republican Council in the Tiraspol section between 1989–1992. He was politically detained together with the " Ilașcu Group" between 2 June and 21 August 1992.
