Useless Keys
Useless Keys are an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California composed of Michael Regilio (guitar, keyboards) and Michael Bauer (guitar, vocals). The band formed in May 2008 and their first show was on June 19, 2008 at Spaceland in Silver Lake, California. Biography Useless Keys recorded 6 songs at The Carriage House in Silver Lake, California with grammy winning producer Sheldon Gomberg over the winter of 2009. Two songs, "Down Threw" and "White Noise" were mixed by Rick Parker who has also worked with The Von Bondies and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. "Down Threw" has received strong support from Los Angeles major rock radio station KROQ-FM with multiple spins over the summer of 2009. Blitzen Trapper is a Portland, Oregon-based experimental country music, country/Folk music, folk/Rock and roll, rock band associated with Sub Pop Records, Vagrant Records and Lojinx. Formed in 2000, the band currently operates as a quintet, with Eric Earley (guitar/harmonica/vocals/keyboard), Erik Menteer (guitar/keyboard), Brian Adrian Koch (drums/vocals/harmonica), Michael Van Pelt (bass), and Marty Marquis (guitar/keyboards/vocals/melodica). Warpaint is an American indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2004. The band consists of Emily Kokal (vocals, guitar), Theresa Wayman (vocals, guitar), Jenny Lee Lindberg (bass, vocals), and Stella Mozgawa (drums). KFMA (102.1 FM) is commercial radio station located in Tucson, Arizona, broadcasting to the Tucson, Arizona area. KFMA airs an active rock music format. It runs the week day jumpstart with Riley week mornings. KFMA has an ERP of 100,000 watts. Its studios are in northern Tucson while the transmitter is southeast of the city. KFMA formerly broadcast on 92.1 MHz with a repeater on 101.3. The signal was sometimes hard to pick in all areas of the Tucson Metro Area due to distance, and the fact that the 92.1 frequency had an ERP of 50,000 watts. KINB
KINB (105.3 FM) is a sports radio station serving the Oklahoma City area. History This station officially signed on July 6, 2000 as Contemporary Christian as "The Light 105-Dot-3 FM" with call letters KLGH. On April 1, 2002 at midnight, the format of WWLS 640 was simulcast on 105.3 after Citadel Broadcasting agreed to purchase the station. The Sports Animal (Sports Talk) format moved to KLGH on April 11, 2002 and the station would later change its calls to WWLS-FM on October 1, 2002. On August 23, 2002 the station began running an alternative rock format at night while keeping the sports talk format during the day. WAQX-FM (95.7 MHz) is an alternative rock-formatted radio station licensed to Manlius, New York, United States, serving the Syracuse, New York, market. WAQX-FM is owned and operated by Cumulus Media. History On November 29, 1976, AGK Communications, Inc., a company owned by George Kimble, applied to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for a new radio station on 95.3 MHz to serve Manlius. The application competed against a bid from Manlius Broadcasting Co., which was owned by Craig Fox. The Kimble and Fox bids merged and won the construction permit on May 10, 1978. Construction immediately ensued on studios in the Market Place complex on Route 92, including Fox doing much of the construction himself as chief engineer, and with an album-oriented rock (AOR) format, WAQX began broadcasting on August 23, 1978.
