Use Once And Destroy
''Use Once and Destroy'' is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Superjoint Ritual. The guitar and bass work was done by Phil Anselmo and Eyehategod's Jimmy Bower. Drumming was performed by Joe Fazzio. For touring bass duties, the band recruited Hank Williams III. Anselmo did not want to play bass live because he wanted to focus mainly on singing. ''Use Once and Destroy'' is a slightly different approach to music than the work of Pantera, one of Anselmo's other bands. It has been described as a mix of hardcore punk and sludge metal. The album was re-released in 2006 through Sanctuary / Mayan Records, featuring bonus tracks. On May 20, 2022, Revolver Magazine respectively reissued the album on a 2LP vinyl cover to celebrate its 20th-anniversary milestone, as well as their second follow-up album, A Lethal Dose of American Hatred. Superjoint Ritual
Superjoint, formerly known as Superjoint Ritual, was an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band. History The band was formed by Phil Anselmo, Joe Fazzio, and Jimmy Bower in the early 1990s, later to be joined by Hank Williams III and Kevin Bond. They were founded by Anselmo parallel to his membership in Pantera, but became a full-time endeavor a few years later after Pantera's dissolution. Despite their early 1990s establishment, it was not until a decade later, after the folding of Pantera, that the group recorded any albums. It was then that Superjoint Ritual garnered significant TV exposure on programs such as MTV2's ''Headbangers Ball'' and Fuse TV's ''Uranium (TV series), Uranium''. However, the group's time in the spotlight would prove short lived. Down is an American heavy metal supergroup that formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1991. Air guitar is a form of dance and movement in which the performer pretends to play an imaginary rock or heavy metal-style electric guitar, including riffs and solos. Playing an air guitar usually consists of exaggerated strumming and picking motions, and is often coupled with loud singing or lip-synching. ''Uranium'' was an American television program about heavy metal which aired on Fuse TV (MMUSA when the program debuted) in the early 2000s. After establishing herself as the host of MMUSA's ''Tastemakers'' program, Juliya Chernetsky, along with network producers, created ''Uranium'' as an outlet for the broad range of heavy metal subgenres. Debuting in 2002 and hosted by a 19-year-old Chernetsky, it served as Fuse TV's equivalent to MTV's ''Headbangers Ball'', a long-canceled series that was revived shortly after ''Uraniums debut. With new episodes premiering Friday nights at 9pm ET, the program traditionally ran a half-hour featuring an interview with a band and music videos. Jim VanBebber (born November 24, 1964) is an American film director. Born in Greenville, Ohio, VanBebber attended Wright State University where he studied cinema.
