''Daagh'' ( ur, ) is a Pakistani television series directed by Sarmad Khoosat who is known for dealing with social issues. It shows the misery of women that are unable to give birth to a boy. It was also aired in India on Zindagi TV, premiering on 30 November 2015. The shows ended its run in India on 23 December 2015. Plot The story of Daagh drama serial completely revolves around the life of a house wife named Umama (Mehar Bano) who has four daughters. Umama belongs to a middle-class family who lives with her parents and two sisters. Her father has is of a very conservative personality. Umama marries Murad (Fahad Mustafa). Murad also belongs to a middle-class family and lives with his mother and two sisters. Initially Murad's cousin Deeba (Sana Askari) was interested in him and wanted to get married. ''Sartaj Mera Tu Raaj Mera'' was a 2015 Pakistani soap series. Written by Jahanzeb Qamar it was directed by Shafqat Mohuddin and produced by Syed Mukhtar Ahmed. It features assemble cast Zhalay Sarhadi, Shagufta Ejaz, Ismat Zaidi, Nausheen Shah and Sohail Sameer. Plot A soap that entails the story of a joint family. The family is headed by a woman, mother of two sons, played by Shagufta Ejaz. She believes in following traditions and values of her home religiously. She holds complete authority over her sons and their wives. However, this leads to confrontations from time to time. The Hum Award for Best Soap Actress is one of the Hum Awards of Merit presented annually by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC). It is given in honor of an actress who has delivered an outstanding performance of leading role in soap series while working within the television industry. The 1st Hum Awards (for 2012) was held in 2013, Sumbul Iqbal was the first winner of the award for her role in ''Raju Rocket''. Currently, nominees are determined by single transferable vote, within the actors and jury branch of HTNEC; winners are selected by a plurality vote from the entire eligible voting members of the Hum. Multiple nominations for an actor in same category but for different work is eligible. 4th Hum Awards
The 4th Hum Awards ceremony, presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis, honored the best in fashion, music and Hum Television Dramas of 2015. It took place on April 23, 2016 at the Expo Centre in Karachi, Sindh, beginning at 7:30 p.m. PST. During the ceremony, HTNEC presented Hum Awards in 25 categories. The ceremony was televised in Pakistan by Hum TV on May 28, 2016. 4th Hum Awards were also selected to air on Hum Europe on Eid al-Adha 2016. Actors Sanam Jung, Hamza Ali Abbasi, and Ayesha Khan hosted the ceremony, while Ahmed Ali Butt and Vasay Chaudhry emceed the ceremony again.
