Urimai
''Urimai'' () is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Rama Narayanan starring Suresh and Nalini. It was released on 15 March 1985. Plot Suresh is the only child of the rich businessman Maragathammal. He's a womanizer and a general wastrel that wanders aimlessly with his uncle as his accomplice. Maragathammal has given up hope of Suresh ever making anything of himself. Rani is a poor teacher that catches Suresh's wandering eye. Initially, his interest is superficial but he soon falls in love with her and she reciprocates. The two marry but are treated with skepticism by Maragathammal. Rani eventually wins over her mother-in-law but tragedy strikes soon after when the couple are in a car accident. Rani is presumed dead, along with Suresh's dog, Raja. Rama Narayanan
Rama Narayanan (3 April 1949 – 22 June 2014) was an Indian film director and producer. In the 1980s, he was known as a director who specialized in shooting commercial films in which animals played vital roles, while in the 1990s, several of his films were based on Hindu devotional subjects. He has also headed the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) for three consecutive elections, before resigning in 2011. He died on 22 June 2014 at a Singapore hospital due to kidney-related ailments. Career Narayanan came to Chennai intending to become a songwriter, but he became a dialogue writer for films. He and his friend M. A. Vennira Aadai Moorthy
Vennira Aadai Moorthy (born 25 July 1936) is an Indian actor and comedian in Tamil cinema. He has starred in many Tamil films and television serials as a comedian and also played supporting roles. He is a lawyer by education, and holds a B.L. degree in addition to a PhD in astrology. He is married to actress Manimala who played Suhasini's mother in '' Sindhu Bhairavi'' and the heroine in ''Vallavanukku Vallavan'' (1965). He is also a well known script-writer. Mysore Seshaiah Suresh Babu Naidu is an Indian actor, producer, director, and dubbing artist. He has acted predominantly in Tamil and Telugu languages. Personal life Suresh was born in Sri Kalhasthi. Srikanth (19 March 1940 – 12 October 2021) was an Indian actor who has performed in around 200 Tamil films since his debut in 1965. He is also referred to as Venniradai Srikanth. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad.
