Upsala-Lenna Järnväg (ULJ) (literally: ''Upsala-Lenna Railway'', also nicknamed ''Lennakatten'') is a Narrow gauge railway, narrow-gauge heritage railway in Uppsala County, Sweden. It is long and is a part of the once extensive Roslagen network. The gauge is the , unique to Sweden. The railway is run by the SRJmf society. History The railway between Uppsala and Lenna (old spelling of Länna, Uppsala Municipality, Länna) was opened in 1876 and was the first of all railways in the region. It was built to serve the ironworks at Länna with a connection to the railroad network. The choice of gauge was somewhat of a compromise, would have sufficed for the ore and steel traffic but with only a slight increase in budget allowed the greater capacity to carry passengers, mail and other goods. Stockholm East Station
Stockholm East Station ( sv, Stockholms östra station) or Stockholm Ö is a railway station on the Roslag Railway in Stockholm, Sweden. The present station was inaugurated in 1932 and located on Valhallavägen in northeastern central Stockholm, close to the Royal Institute of Technology (Tekniska Högskolan), replacing an older provisional station from 1884 which was located some hundred metres to the north. Originally, the building had the offices of SRJ, the company owning and managing the Roslag Railway. There are still offices in the building for the company which is operating the traffic at present. The building also includes a restaurant, which has the same interior as when the building was new, something which is appreciated by the customers. Tp was a diesel-hydraulic locomotive operated by Swedish State Railways ( sv, Statens Järnvägar, SJ) for hauling freight trains on its narrow gauge railways. 25 were built in total, 20 by Maschinenbau Kiel and five on licence by Svenska Järnvägsverkstäderna (''The Swedish Railway Workshops''). Roslagsbanan is a narrow gauge commuter railway system in Roslagen, Stockholm County, Sweden. Its combined route length is and there are 38 stations. It is built to the Swedish three foot () gauge. The Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL) classifies it as "light rail" in its maps. The line starts in Stockholm at Stockholm East Station (Stockholms östra station, Stockholm Ö). It goes north and splits into three branch lines at the junction stations Djursholms Ösby and Roslags Näsby; the three branches terminate at Näsbypark, Österskär and Kårsta. It is double track between Stockholm and Viggbyholm and between Rydbo and Åkersberga. The rest is single track, but the line to Vallentuna was being doubled in 2012 and Rydbo-Åkers Runö in 2013.
