The Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians, known to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) as the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Indians of Oregon is a List of federally recognized Native American tribes in Oregon, federally recognized Native Americans in the United States, Native American tribal government based in Roseburg, Oregon, United States. The tribe takes its name from Cow Creek (South Umpqua River), Cow Creek, a tributary of the South Umpqua River. Roseburg, Oregon
Roseburg is a city in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is in the Umpqua River, Umpqua River Valley in southern Oregon and is the county seat and most populous city of Douglas County, Oregon, Douglas County.
