''Up the Slope'' (Hungarian: ''Felfelé a lejtön'') is a 1959 Hungarian romantic comedy film directed by Viktor Gertler and starring Erzsébet Házy, György Kálmán and Imre Ráday. Rîpeanu p.41 It was shot at the Hunnia Studios in Budapest. The film's sets were designed by the art director Béla Zeichan. Lenke Lorán
Lenke Lorán (1 May 1927 – 27 August 2017) was a Hungarian actress. She was born in Győr, Hungary. Her career began in 1935. Lorán played mostly comedies, but she also performed memorably in more serious films as well. Her best known roles were in ''Nyári játék'', ''Entanglement (film), Entanglement'', and in ''7-es csatorna''. Between 1945 and 1966, she was a member of the Theater of the Hungarian People's Army and the Petőfi Theater. Between 1966 and 1998, she played on the Amusement Stage. Between 1998 and 2011, she was a member of the Microscope Stage. She retired in 2014. János Rajz (born János Reisz February 13, 1907 – July 20, 1981) was a Hungarian stage, film and television actor. Early life Rajz was born in Budapest in 1907 and attended Hódmezővásárhely Grammar School, and had aspirations of becoming an artist. When he was 17, the director of a theater in Debrecen approached him about acting. In 1924, he appeared onstage in Debrecen in a Viennese opera. Irén Psota
Irén Psota (28 March 1929 – 25 February 2016) was a Hungarian actress, who received two Kossuth Awards. Life Irén Psota was born on 28 March 1929. She was a Hungarian actress and singer. Her parents were István Psota and Ilona Dávid. She graduated from the Theatre and Film Academy in 1952 and was immediately signed to Madách Theatre after her training where she played until 1980. She was working between 1980-82 at the People's Theatre, and from 1990 to 1982 to the National Theatre became a member. Following that, she returned to Madach Theatre. Legacy During her six decade career, Irén Psota garnered critical acclaim in both classical and modern, native and foreign stage roles, and a wide range of movies and television films and her songs. She won the Kossuth Prize twice, in 1966 and 2007. Death She died in her sleep from heart failure after a long illness at the age of 86 on 25 February 2016.

Tibor Benedek (12 July 1972 – 18 June 2020) was a Hungarian professional water polo player and coach, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He played on the gold medal squads at the 2000 Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics.
