''Up Your Alley'' is a 1989 romantic comedy film directed by Bob Logan and starring Linda Blair. The screenplay was by Logan and Murray Langston (better known as the Unknown Comic), who also co-stars. Premise While pursuing a story on homelessness, an undercover reporter (Blair) finds romance with a transient (Langston). Bob Logan, also known as Bobby Logan, is an American film and television producer, writer and film director. His productions include '' Repossessed'', ''Meatballs 4'', ''Up Your Alley'' and ''Yard Sale''. Prior to working in feature films and television, Logan wrote comedy material for comics including: Joan Rivers, Garry Shandling, Rodney Dangerfield, Sam Kinison, and Arsenio Hall. Murray Langston (born June 27, 1944), who frequently performed using the stage name "The Unknown Comic", is a Canadian actor and stand-up comedian best known for his performances on ''The Gong Show'', during which he usually appeared with a paper bag over his head. Early life Murray Langston was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada and left home at the age of 15 because his parents—disabled and financially strapped—could not afford to raise him and his younger siblings.
