The Unusuals
''The Unusuals'' is an American crime television series created by Noah Hawley for ABC. It follows the detectives in the New York City Police Department's fictional 2nd Precinct, many of whom have their secret eccentricities. The series ran for one season from April 8, 2009, to June 17, 2009. Premise Casey Shraeger transfers from Vice to the New York City Police Department's 2nd Precinct to work at Sergeant Harvey Brown's station. Her new partner is Jason Walsh, whose previous partner was killed the same night Casey was assigned to him. Casey was chosen because Brown believes her to be incorruptible, since she comes from a wealthy family and chose to work for the police from a sense of doing good, instead of money. Casey recruits her new partner in search of Walsh's ex-partner's killer. He was known to be corrupt, but he finds the others at the 2nd Precinct, particularly Henry Cole who once lived by another name and robbed an armored car. ''The Unusual'' is the second album by Artifacts member El Da Sensei. It was released on February 28, 2006 under Fat Beats Records. Background Tame and El's graf-rap was well received by underground audiences and continued in the New Jersey rap tradition of Redman and Lords of the Underground. The group developed a fan base of hardcore hip-hoppers, being graffiti artists and hip-hop purists. El Da Sensei latest album is a continuation of the first two Artifacts albums. According to El, the album "stands for true hip hop." El has said that the possibility of an Artifacts reunion are low, considering the relative success he and Tame One have had since both going solo. Mohsen Chavoshi Hosseini ( fa, محسن چاوشی, ku, موحسن چاوشی; born 30 July 1979) is an Iranian Kurdish musician, singer, record producer and songwriter, based in Tehran. He has released ten albums including a soundtrack to the 2007 film ''Santouri''. Early life Chavoshi was born in Khorramshahr, Iran to a Kurdish family from Kurdistan province. His family migrated to Mashhad, where he also completed his education. Career Chavoshi began his music career after he finished school and military service. His 2008 album ''Ye Shakhe Niloufar'' (a lotus sprout) received permission to be released legally. The CD later became the biggest legally sold CD within Iran by selling over one million legal non-bootleg copies. In ''Yek Shakheh Niloofar'', alongside his new producer, Chavoshi experimented with a new style that was more towards the rock music genre while including traditional Persian instruments.
