Screenwriter Adele Lim is set to make her feature directorial debut on an untitled American comedy film for Lionsgate and Point Grey Pictures, which is scheduled for release on June 23, 2023. Premise The film follows the journey of four Asian-American women traveling through Asia in search of one of their birth mothers. Adele Lim is a Malaysian American film and television producer and screenwriter. She is best known as a screenwriter for the 2018 movie ''Crazy Rich Asians (film), Crazy Rich Asians''. She has given support to young writers as mentor and speaker for the Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE). Early life Lim was born in Malaysia and is of Malaysian Chinese descent.
