Originally self-released in 2000 in 2003 it was remastered and re-released by Uprising Records Uprising Records is a record label founded in 1994 by Sean Muttaqi. This recording contains early versions of; "A Farewell to a Perfect Score", "Dandelion", and "Silent Deaths, Crowded Lives". Featuring long arpeggiated intro's on the former and latter, and notably rougher guitar distortion. Temo Rios contributed vocals for this release (which is favored by some fans for the high-pitched shrieks and stereo vocal recordings he employed). Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk.
