Unterreute
Reute is a municipality in the district of Emmendingen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. History Evidence of human habitation in the area of Reute date back to Neolithic and Bronze Age, between 2300 to 800 BC. Celtic grave mounds and their goods, from the Hallstatt culture and dated to around 750 BC, were found in the municipal area. Upper and Lower Reute were possessions of the until they were mediatized to the Grand Duchy of Baden in 1805. They were assigned to Oberamt Freiburg in 1809 and then to the district of Emmendingen in 1819. In 1939, that district was reorganized into the present district of Emmendingen. Emmendingen (district)
Emmendingen (German: ''Landkreis Emmendingen'') is a ''Landkreis'' (district) in the west of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Neighbouring districts are (from north clockwise) Ortenaukreis, Schwarzwald-Baar, Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald and the district-free city Freiburg. To the west it borders the French ''département'' Bas-Rhin. History The district dates back to the ''Bezirksamt Emmendingen'', which was created in 1803 when the area became part of Baden. After several additions it was converted into the district Emmendingen in 1936, when it was merged with the ''Amt Waldkirch''. In the communal reform of 1973 the district wasn't changed - at first it was planned to merge it with the district Lahr, but that was merged into the Ortenaukreis instead. In heraldry, or (/ɔːʁ/; French for "gold") is the tincture of gold and, together with argent (silver), belongs to the class of light tinctures called "metals", or light colours. In heraldry, impalement is a form of heraldic combination or marshalling of two coats of arms side by side in one divided heraldic shield or escutcheon to denote a union, most often that of a husband and wife, but also for unions of ecclesiastical, academic/civic and mystical natures. Glotter is a river of in the Breisgau region in the south of Baden-Württemberg, Germany which is approximately 30 km long. An alluvial fan is an accumulation of sediments that fans outwards from a concentrated source of sediments, such as a narrow canyon emerging from an escarpment. They are characteristic of mountainous terrain in arid to semiarid climates, but are also found in more humid environments subject to intense rainfall and in areas of modern glaciation. Upper Rhine
The Upper Rhine (german: Oberrhein ; french: Rhin Supérieur) is the section of the Rhine between Basel in Switzerland and Bingen in Germany, surrounded by the Upper Rhine Plain.
