''Unknown Territory'' is the second studio album by Bomb the Bass, released on Rhythm King Records in 1991. It peaked at number 19 on the UK Albums Chart. Production Once again pioneering new sounds in the public arena, and following the success of "Winter in July", ''Unknown Territory'' would be the band's most well received release to date. Rhythm King Records
Rhythm King Records Ltd was a British independent record label, founded in the mid-1980s by Martin Heath, Adele Nozedar, DJ Jay Strongman and James Horrocks. It was based in Chiswick, London. History Beginnings Starting out as an offshoot of Daniel Miller's critically acclaimed Mute Records, Rhythm King's initial focus was dance music - specifically house, acid house, acid jazz, sampling culture and hip hop/rap. Strongman's rap/funk offshoot, Flame Records, signed proto- gangsta rapper Schoolly D and Chuck Brown & the Soul Searchers amongst others. Douglas Arthur Wimbish (born September 22, 1956) is an American bass player, primarily known for being a member of rock band Living Colour and funk/dub/hip hop collective Tackhead, and as a session musician with artists such as Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, Depeche Mode, James Brown, Annie Lennox, and Barrington Levy (as well as his studio work for the rap/hip hop label Sugarhill Records and the experimental dub label On-U Sound). ''Clear'' is the third studio album by English electronic music act Bomb the Bass released on 3 April 1995 by 4th & B'way Records. Release ''Clear'' was released on 3 April 1995 by 4th & B'way Records. It peaked at number 22 on the UK Albums Chart. "Bug Powder Dust" was issued as the lead single from ''Clear'' on 19 September 1994, peaking at number 24 on the UK Singles Chart. "Dark Heart" followed later that year, reaching number 35 on the chart. A further two singles were released in 1995: "One to One Religion" on 20 March, and "Sandcastles" on 4 September. The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. Simon Reynolds (born 19 June 1963) is an English music journalist and author who began his professional career on the staff of ''Melody Maker'' in the mid-1980s.
