The Unión del Fútbol del Interior ( en, Football Union of the Interior) or UFI is an association affiliated to the Paraguayan Football Association that was founded in 1927 to organize and govern football outside of Asunción, specifically on each of the different Departments of Paraguay. The UFI is constituted by the clubs and leagues that are part of the Departmental Football Federation from each Department in Paraguay. Club tournaments organized by the UFI gives chances to teams from all over Paraguay to reach the first division by clearing lower division levels. Football Federation Of The 5th Department Caaguazú
The Football Federation of the 5th Department Caaguazú (''Federación de Fútbol Quinto Departamento Caaguazú'') is the departamental governing body of football (soccer) in the department of Caaguazú, in Paraguay. The federation is responsible for the organization of football leagues in the different cities of the department and it is also the regulator of the clubs. The main office of this federation is located in the city of Coronel Oviedo. Tournaments for each league of this federation are played every year to determine the best teams. Afterwards, the champions of each league face each other to determine the best team in the department, with the overall winner being promoted to a higher division in the Paraguayan football league system. Itauguá
Itauguá () is a city of the Central Department, Paraguay. Founded in 1728, it is known by its peculiar art of the ñandutí and its music. The San Rafael Museum shows various objects from the Colonial Age. The National Hospital, one of the most important health institutions, is located in Itauguá. Itauguá is about 30 kilometers away from Asunción. It was founded by Governor Martín de Barúa on June 27, 1728. History and Toponymy The architecture of the Colonial Age is still visible in the center of the city. Its name is related to the Ytay stream, that flows through the land. So, "ita", which means "stone" in the Guaraní language, plus the suffix "gua", which indicates "belonging in Guaraní language".
