Unión Minas
Unión Minas is a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Cerro de Pasco. The club was founded 23 April 1974 and plays in the Copa Perú which is the third division of the Peruvian league. History The club has played at the highest level of Peruvian football on sixteen occasions, from 1986 Torneo Descentralizado until 2001 Torneo Descentralizado when it was relegated to 2002 Copa Perú. In the 2002 Copa Perú, the club participated in the Regional Stage, but was eliminated by León de Huánuco, Sport Dos de Mayo, and Universidad Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión. In the 2008 Copa Perú, the club classified to the Regional Stage, but was eliminated by Deportivo Wanka and Alianza Universidad. In the 2010 Copa Perú, the club classified to the Regional Stage, but was eliminated by Asociación Deportiva Tarma and Alianza Universidad. Deportivo Wanka
Deportivo Wanka is a Peruvian football club, based in the city of Huancayo in the Peruvian Andes. It was founded in 1969 and is named after the Wankas people who formerly inhabited the area and after whom the city of Huancayo is named. The current Deportivo Wanka is merged with Deportivo Pesquero of Chimbote but its home city is still Huancayo. They play their home games at Estadio Huancayo. Their last First Division participation was in 2004. They protested against their relegation and were suspended from participating in any football tournament. The Peruvian football league system is a complex system. Though the general outline includes the Liga 1, Liga 2 and Copa Perú. The Copa Perú is very large involving several stages and leagues within it. In addition, the Copa Perú is played within a year. 2010 Ligas Superiores Del Peru
The 2010 Ligas Superiores, the fifth division of Peruvian football (soccer), will be played by variable number teams by Department. The tournaments will be played on a home-and-away round-robin basis. Ligas Superiores Del Peru
The Ligas Superiores was one of two leagues that formed part of the Departamental Stage in the Copa Perú of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) football league system. The other league at level was the Ligas Departamentales. A transcendental step was given in the Copa Perú with the official establishment of the Ligas Superiores which did not become as successful as expected. Format The Ligas Superiores were composed of a select group of clubs of each department. The champion and runner-up from each league automatically qualifies to their department's Liga Departamental. History The Ligas Superiores were officially created in 2009. In 2009, nine the Departmental Federations determined to adopt them: Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Huánuco, Lambayeque, Pasco, Piura, Puno and Tumbes. Asociación Deportiva Tarma
Asociación Deportiva Tarma, commonly referred as ADT, is a Peruvian association football club, playing in the city of Tarma, Junín. The club was founded in 1929, and currently play in Liga 1, which is the first division of the Peruvian league. History ADT were 1979 Copa Perú champions, after defeating Comercial Aguas Verdes, Defensor Lima, Deportivo Garcilaso, and Universidad Técnica de Cajamarca. The club managed to reach the National Stage of the 2010 Copa Perú, after defeating historic teams like Alianza Universidad and Unión Minas in their group; later they were eliminated by Alianza Unicachi of Puno in the semifinals. In 2011, they reached the National Stage again, but were eliminated by Alianza Universidad in the quarterfinals. Alianza Universidad
Alianza Universidad is a Peruvian association football club, playing in the city of Huánuco. History The club was founded as Alianza Huánuco on January 1, 1939. The club have played at the highest level of Peruvian football on one occasion, in the 1991 Torneo Descentralizado, but was relegated to the 1992 Torneo Zonal. In the 2011 Copa Perú, the club classified to the National Stage, but was eliminated by Real Garcilaso in the semifinals. It was invited to play in the 2012 Peruvian Segunda Division. Alianza Universidad played in the Segunda División tournament five seasons from 2012 until 2016. After not much success with gaining promotion the team decided to retire from the tournament and return to the Copa Perú system in 2017 where it will play from the Departamental Stage.
