The University of Kansas School of Business is a public business school on the main campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. The KU School of Business was founded in 1924 and has more than 100 faculty members and approximately 1500 students. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business has accredited the KU School of Business for its business and accounting programs. KU is one of only three universities in the Kansas City region to offer an MBA degree with this highest and most prestigious accreditation level. Majors and concentrations The KU School of Business offers undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. programs across disciplines. Ray C. Anderson (July 28, 1934 – August 8, 2011) was founder and chairman of Interface Inc., one of the world's largest manufacturers of modular carpet for commercial and residential applications and a leading producer of commercial broadloom and commercial fabrics. He was known in environmental circles for his advanced and progressive stance on industrial ecology and sustainability. Allen Fieldhouse is an indoor arena on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence, Kansas. It is home of the Kansas Jayhawks men's and women's basketball teams.
