University School Of Nashville
University School of Nashville is an independent, coeducational, day school located in Nashville, Tennessee. History Referred to colloquially as USN, the school was founded in 1888 by the Peabody Board of Trustees. The school was first founded as Winthrop Model School; in 1915, it became Peabody Demonstration School (PDS), a part of Peabody College intended to demonstrate the operation of a school. The school was founded by Richard Thomas Alexander. While it was Peabody Demonstration School, it became the second high school in Nashville to be desegregated, following Father Ryan High School, and the first one to be fully desegregated, meaning that extra-curricular activities were desegregated in addition to academics. The demonstration school was closed in 1974, several years before Peabody merged with adjacent Vanderbilt University. John Early (born January 21, 1988) is an American comedian and actor. He has appeared on ''30 Rock'' as Jenna Maroney's son and in the independent film ''Fort Tilden''. Gabe Dixon
Gabe Dixon (born December 7, 1977) is an American musician. Dixon began his career in the Nashville-based country band, Six Shooter. Between 1998 and 2010, he was the lead singer of The Gabe Dixon Band. Since the band's break-up, Dixon has worked as a solo artist. He has released two studio albums, '' One Spark'' (2011) and '' Turns to Gold'' (2016), and one live album Live In Boston (2017). He is also the founder of the label Rolling Ball Records. As of 2019, Dixon has been on tour with the Tedeschi Trucks Band. This tour was intended to continue in 2020 but it has been postponed until 2021 due to COVID-19. Whites Creek is an unincorporated community located near Nashville in the northern part of Davidson County, Tennessee. The community and nearby creek which travels north to south along US 431 were named after an early settler named White who was killed by hostile American Indians prior to the settlement of Fort Nashboro in 1778.
