Fiction Records
Fiction Records is a British record label founded by Chris Parry in 1978, owned by Universal Music Group and based in the United Kingdom. It is best known for being the home of The Cure for over 20 years. It was originally a part of Polydor, but in January 2014, Universal restructured Fiction as a standalone label, removing it from Polydor's corporate affiliation. Fiction repertoire is now released internationally through Virgin (ex-North America). Clare Bowditch
Clare Bowditch (born 1975) is an Australian musician, actress, radio presenter and business entrepreneur. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2006, Bowditch won the ARIA Award for Best Female Artist and was nominated for a Logie Award for her work on the TV series ''Offspring'' in 2012. She has toured with Gotye and Leonard Cohen, written for ''Harpers Bazaar'', ''Rolling Stone'' and ''Drum''. She currently hosts an Australian music program on a Qantas airlines in-flight audio channel. Chance Waters
Chance Dylan Waters (previously known as Phatchance), is an ex independent Australian hip hop artist and record producer. As Phatchance, Waters was a founder of the group, Natural Causes, in 2003 which issued an album, ''The Incidental Noise Demo'' (August 2007), and toured nationally. The group disbanded later that year. In 2009 Waters independently released his debut album, ''Inkstains'', as Phatchance, via Obese Records distribution. His second album, ''Infinity'', was issued in November 2012. The Cairos
The Cairos were a Brisbane musical group signed to Island Records Australia. The band formed in Brisbane in 2007 and consisted of members Alistar Richardson on vocals and guitar, Alfio Alivuzza on guitar, Reuben Schafer on bass and Jacob Trotter on drums. Boy & Bear are an Australian indie folk band formed in 2009, consisting of David Hosking (vocals and guitar), Killian Gavin (vocals and guitar), Tim Hart (drums and vocals), Jonathan Hart (vocals, banjo, mandolin and keyboards), and David Symes (bass). Andy Bull is an Australian alt-pop singer-songwriter and producer, based in Sydney. He is best known for his singles "Dog", "Keep on Running" and "Baby I Am Nobody Now"; as well as his prolific Australian touring. Virgin Records is a record label owned by Universal Music Group.
